A four player party game where adventurers must survive the cave dwelling beast using their best stand up routine.

Origin

My friend Dylan Combs and I were brainstorming game concepts one day by creating random sentences out of a list of adjectives, verbs and nouns we made. We found the brainstorming method so fun, we not only used it to come up with a theme for our game, but we thought it could make a great core mechanic if flushed out.

Overview

3 players take control as rouge adventurers stealing gold from the cave of the fourth player, a massive beast. Upon waking up the beast by accident the adventurers must now create jokes by combining a randomly generated list of phrases together. The beast must then rank the jokes made by the players. After a couple of rounds, the players that fail to please the beast enough die, while the survivors make off with the treasure (if there are any survivors). The full GDD can be see by clicking here.

*In the documentation there is a lot of information about a single player aspect of the game. This ended up being far different from the initial concept, so it would most likely work better as it's own game.*
